Mumbai Locals part II

#2: The Protective Aunty
In the ladies compartment.. be it first class or second class.. there is alwayz some sort of a cold war between the yougsters i.e. the college gals and the aunties... it is alwayz advisable to stay away from them.. or else you would be able to write an entire dictionary on the various abuses that u can get.. specially in marathi...so.. it so happened the other day....
I was on my way to german class in thane.. i prefer the bus.. but that day i felt like going by the train just for the sake of it... a young girl of twenty something was standing besides me.. on the foot board ( i had mentioned earlier that i am fond of foot board travel).. one look at the girl and u could make out that she was one of those anorexic kinda gals....
it was a hot april afternoon.. and the train as usual was resembling a sabzi mandi.. it was damn sultry..suddenly the skinny girl lost her balance .. or so we thought and was about to fall off the running train!!!!!
Before anyone could react.. an aunty standing next to her( yeah 3 people can travel aaramse on the foot board) scooped her up a la kkrishh.. and brought her to the safe confines of the compartment..... yeah the girl got adose from the aunty.. but she was safe... that was more important...we later found out the girl was aneamic...aunties and gals maybe forever bickering bout each other.. but still it is maybe their motherly instinctss...touchwood!!!!!
